Vortex is an annual tradition in U.Va.'s School of Architecture that takes place at the beginning of each spring semester. In my first time participating in Vortex, I participated in our group's design and assisted with the production of our site model.

 

Our project focused on the intersection of Emmet Street and Ivy Road at the University of Virginia. Our intention was further strengthening of the Academical Village as well as strengthening of the area's ability to respond to excess run-off water.
